Overview

E-Pay is a mobile-first digital payment and recharge application designed for users in the UAE and nearby regions. The product enables users to recharge mobile numbers, manage offers and coupons, store payment methods, and complete transactions securely through bank accounts, debit cards, or credit cards. My role focused on simplifying a traditionally complex fintech experience into a clear, trustworthy, and fast mobile flow.

Problem

Existing recharge and payment apps in the region often suffer from cluttered interfaces, confusing coupon logic, and high drop-offs during payment due to friction-heavy forms and unclear feedback. Users needed a solution that felt reliable, easy to understand, and fast—especially for repeat recharges and everyday transactions.

Design Decisions

I designed E-Pay with a clean, utility-driven interface that prioritizes clarity and speed. Key decisions included chunked payment flows, clear option selection for payment methods, simple coupon discovery and application, and form designs optimized for accuracy and confidence. Profile management, bank account setup, and card-saving flows were intentionally straightforward to reduce hesitation in a trust-sensitive fintech context. Visual hierarchy and strong CTAs guide users step-by-step without overwhelming them.
